Interestingly this particular V8 is one of a small batch to receive the more powerful & modified Stage 1 tune engine which had the new camshafts and exhaust system developed for the V8 Vantage. Just occasionally, these cars are referred to as V8 S.

The list of works is immense and where necessary mechanical parts have been overhauled, replaced and/or upgraded. During the body off restoration both the chassis & shell were fully treated, along with the fitment of new sills and a stainless steel exhaust, which should see this V8 remain in fine fettle for years to come.

Recently repainted in period Cumberland Grey, the contrasting black interior has been upgraded with a bespoke leather roof lining and new doors cards. The owner had a preferance for a Vantage bonnet & front spoiler and so this was duly undertaken and the car now has the more purposeful front end.

This V8 represents a great introduction to the pleasures of Aston Martin ownership with all of the erksome and costly repairs having been removed from the equation.
