Originally a Italian home market scooter, KON 981E was imported into the UK during 2013.....on file is a letter from Peter Davies, of the British Lambretta Archive, confirming its authenticity and its 1967 manufacture.

Colour choices were limited to either white or grey with some markets offering red or blue flashes to side panels aswell. Our SX is evidently finished in Grey which on inspection is almost certain to be the original factory paint, in fact, its difficult to see any deviation from the original build specification, other than the rear carrier should be chrome rather than painted black.
