This car was originally supplied via the authorised dealer Monarch Porsche of Warwick, on 11th May 1989, in velvet red (U6U6) with a linen leather interior. The accompanying Porsche Certificate of Authenticity gives a complete breakdown of the factory fitted optional equipment and pleasingly it remains completely faithful and matching to its factory build specification.
Happily even its Blaupunkt Toronto Radio cassette plus high fidelity package consisting of 6 speaker and amp are still in situ! Just as an aside, in case anybody questioned or noticed the lack of model insignia, there was also 'deletion of model designation' on the rear as well.
This 911 is in remarkable original condition, body and panel gaps throughout are perfect, and it has been properly and thoughtfully looked after. The velvet red metallic paintwork is wholly consistent and unblemished, and nothing has been tampered with. As you would expect, there are just a few minor associated marks to the bonnet, but in our opinion that's good to see here and totally in keeping with the car’s limited mileage.
On this point, the odometer shows just 32,715 miles, which is fully verified by the presence of 30 MOTs and corresponding service history.
The Fuchs forged alloys present beautifully and are completely unmarked and shod with premium tyres....the owner decided the original wheel studs and crested centre caps were passed their best, so all were replaced.
As an later photograph demonstrates, underneath the car is extraordinarily clean, in particular under the engine, where you won't find any deterioration and unusually for one of these, it is completely dry. As an additional precaution it has also been fully wax-oiled.
Turning to the interior, well it's again faultless and the sports seats remain in unmarked perfect condition with no bolster wear to even the driver’s seat edge. The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice the non-standard gear knob, which has replaced the usual linen leather item in order that it was not damaged or discoloured with use over time.
There is simply no visual or physically aspect of this car where anything needs attention. Reinforcing this point, the paintwork was treated recently to a professional machine polish and wax top up....it really is a visual treat.
The mechanical condition is very much commensurate with the overall appearance of the car and accordingly drives exceptionally well. Servicing has been entrusted to OPC and other known Porsche specialists, and the stamped service book is testament to this with the latest stamp being within the last 400 miles.
In addition there is a thick history file, along with its original books and wallet plus a spare set of keys.
