A wonderfully original "In Vogue" special addition Range Rover that has also been the former property of Mr Bashall himself.
The car has been featured in numerous magazines and frequently lent to JLR for promotional events over the years, it really is that good.
The exterior paint is almost entirely original, although we understand there was some early damage to the nearside rear door and you can see a very slight discrepancy in the colour if you look closely enough, otherwise, its in remarkable fettle given it's 44 years old.
The bronze interior is again virtually unmarked and very 80's, happily nothing has been changed or upgraded from its factory delivered specification.....even the Phillips radio/cassette works!
It's surprising what quick progress you can make along our busy Surrey/Sussex roads with ample power and wonderful visibility, enabling you to really hustle along knowing the legendary brakes will haul you quickly to a stop.
As you can see from the photos it retains the bespoke "In Vogue" picnic hamper and cool box, both of which are in excellent condition, with the former totally complete.
The low number of owners and minimal mileage (59,095) certainly enhance what is already an exceptional and rare example of this special edition Range Rover. We believe there's perhaps just one other here in the UK and that came from South Africa.
There's a box file of history which includes a Heritage Certificate, original brochure and service voucher book, SuperCover documents, magazine articles, MOTs, loads of invoices and a spare set of keys on a period Bexhill Motors fob!
A fabulous and increasingly rare opportunity to own a piece of Land Rover history.
