Being a later example of the Corniche, it is deemed a "5000" chassis series car which essentially gave it the underpinnings of the soon to arrive Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit.
The originality of this car is breath-taking. The very up to the minute walnut coloured paintwork is virtually blemish free, whilst the tan interior trim is unworn and like new; a truly remarkable find and possibly a unique opportunity to own such a car.
Pleasingly, a copy of the factory build sheet is present and shows that the top roll, knee roll, steering wheel and horn push were leather covered, plus front wing mounted indicators and a passenger foot-well fire extinguisher were also specified.
Not that it could possibly be in question, but there are MOTs dating back to 1986 confirming the exceedingly low mileage, along with a comprehensive record ofowner ship which includes some notable individuals. Historical service records plus invoices for a recent thorough check over and full service, which included an air-con recharge and full wax-oil, are all on file; it literally wants for nothing.
Low production numbers made the Corniche rare in period and rarer still today, and when a real gem like this appears it's certainly an opportunity to join an exclusive club.
It would be a pleasure to answer any questions you might have, although to appreciate how special this car is, this special Rolls-Royce Corniche really needs to be seen "in the flesh” and can be inspected at my Guildford showroom - please call me directly on 07788 865700.
